Inter Milan 'ready to hijack Manchester United's move for Nemanja Matic' as Chelsea left unhappy over Lukaku deal.

The Premier League champions have been left frustrated over Lukaku's move to Old Trafford and are now reluctant to sell their star midfielder to their close rivals.
Inter Milan are ready to move ahead of Manchester United and make their move to sign Chelsea star Nemanja Matic, according to reports in Italy. Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move for the 28-year-old and Jose Mourinho was hoping to land his signature during the summer as he looks to be reunited with the Serbian midfielder.
But Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claims Inter are now ready to hijack the move and take advantage of the strained relationship between Chelsea and United following the Romelu Lukaku transfer this week. Chelsea are believed to be unhappy with the way United made a late move to sign the Belgium striker and are reluctant to do any business with their Premier League rivals.
Inter Milan are looking to sign a quality midfielder during the summer as they look to find a replacement for Joao Mario who is expected to join Paris Saint-Germain and feel Matic could be the perfect signing. Manchester United target Radja Nainggolan is also believed to be a target for the Italian giants, but a move for Matic could now be their top priority following the events that have unfolded with Lukaku this week. Matic does not appear to feature in the plans of Antonio Conte following the signing of N'Golo Kante last summer and the imminent arrival of Tiemoue Bakayoko.
