Bayern Munich set to bid for Real Madrid star James Rodriguez - Colombian.

Bayern Munich look like they could snag James Rodriguez, if the latest reports from Colombia (via 101greatgoals) are accurate, as they are reportedly set to make an offer in the coming hours.

Respected journalist Javier Hernandez Bonnet claims that “James Rodriguez will not stay at Real Madrid. He is closer to Bayern Munich than Paris Saint Germain”.

The Manchester United and Chelsea target has been linked with a departure from Real Madrid for weeks now, having not even been selected by Coach Zinedine Zidane for May’s Champions League final against Juventus.

In fact, the Premier League sides (which also include Liverpool) have yet to make an offer for the 25-year-old.

Rodriguez was signed for a stunning 80 million from Monaco back in 2014, after he’d scored five goals for Colombia in the 2014 World Cup.

Bonnet confirms that Rodriguez may not last very long at Madrid, “because an offer from Bayern Munich could materialise in the next few hours”.

It looks like the Merengues will be asking for
€70 million for their man, who hasn't been given a chance in the last few months
