Fabinho close to Old Trafford move Manchester United are close to agreeing a second signing of the summer, according to multiple reports. The club have announced a deal with Benfica for centre-back Victor Lindelof, who will join United subject to a medical and agreeing personal terms. And Monaco star Fabinho is reportedly close to joining him. The Independent claims progress is being made on the deal, while reports in France suggest should Fabinho not extend his stay at Monaco then United is the only club on his wishlist and O Jogo in Portugal believe a deal is close to completion. West Ham want Joe Hart and plan to offer Manchester City loan-to-buy deal for outcast keeper West Ham want to sign Joe Hart on loan for a year before sealing a permanent transfer but Guardiola is desperate to offload the 30-year-old England number one having decided he is not good enough for his plans for City. Now the Hammers are ready to step in to offer Hart an escape from his City nightmare, and they are looking to put together a loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer. City want Hart’s wages off their books, but West Ham would struggle to match those and afford a fee of around £18million at the same time. Instead they want to match his £100,000-a-week salary on a loan deal for a year, before then coming up with a transfer fee in 12 months time.
